| Thames Valley Group members were among many who contributed towards the purchase and installation of a seat in memory of Peter Saunders, who died last year. After a long and frustrating period of negotiations determinedly led by Avril Stapleton the seat was finally installed at Pangbourne, one of Peter's favourite walking places. The seat is down by the river past the Adventure Dolphin centre at GR SU636768. On October 28 Avril led a walk for the Hillingdon Ramblers which visited the new seat. These pictures were taken on the day. | ||
